Move / Copy Photos
Pixplug makes it easy to move and copy photos between albums. This is very useful for organizing your photos and copying your favorite photos into different albums.

Album Manager > Photo Controls > Move / Copy Photos
To move or create a new copy of a photo and place it in a different album, go to the Album Manager > Photo Controls > Move / Copy Photos page:

Once you're on the Move / Copy Photos page you will see your currently selected album on the left side of the page and an album selection menu along with the selected album photos below it:

First, use the menu on the right side of the page to select the album you want to move or copy photos into or out of.

Next, click to select as many photos as you want under either the left or right side of the page and then click the Move or Copy buttons. The photos will be moved or copied from one side to the other and the page will refresh when this has been completed.

This interface is really easy to use and allows you to keep your photos organized. Many of our uses will create a new album and then either move or copy photos into the new album to populate it. Using this method you can upload lots of photos into an album and then once they are on the Pixplug site, you can then organize them using this page.

Example Of Moving A Photo
In this example we'll move a copy of a picture from the Mountains album (selected album on the left side) into the Family Shots album on the right side:

Step One: Click the photo on the left side:

Step Two: Click the Move >> button in the center of the page:

As you can see the photo has now been moved from the album on the left into the album on the right.

The Copy feature works the same way except that instead of moving the photo from one album to the other it creates a new copy of the photo so both albums have the photo in it.

Create A Copy In The Same Album
You can use the Copy feature to create a copy of a photo and place it into the same album. This is a useful technique to create a backup of your photo if you are going to be cropping or applying an effect to the original.

To create a copy of the photo and put it in the same album you have to take a few extra steps:

Step One: Copy the photo into another album

Step Two: Click the copied photo and then Move the photo back into the original album

Step Three (optional): Click the Photo Controls > Move / Copy Photos link again to make the page reload so you see the copied photo show up
